This said “WOW” before, but somehow that post got erased when I tried to write a new one.

May be quiet for a bit. Out of commission.

Sending love.

Ha ha ha. That was EXACTLY how I felt when I woke up this morning and turned on CNN. Speechless. Wow. I’ve had tears in my eyes all morning.

12 Zeke November 5, 2008 at 8:56 am

A phrase from the end of his speech is just burned into my brain: “unyielding hope.” What isn’t possible, now?

Wow indeed. Thank God.

After eight years of feeling ripped off and powerless? Not bad. Not bad at all.

OK, I am WALKING ON AIR. My faith is restored.

I thought I’d cry. I thought I’d scream.
But when the results finally rolled in,
turns out all I could do was sit on my bed joyously dumbfounded, occasionally saying the very same thing.
We didn’t just rock the vote.
We rocked the world.

25 jaq November 5, 2008 at 4:23 pm

To think my children will know that this is their birthright too, to strive and acheive what some said could not be done. I’ve had chills all day.

I look forward to the work ahead of us. I look forward to the sacrifice. I am overwhelmed at what I felt last night, and so incredibly proud, once again, of our America.

I love your blog, and suffer when you suffer. Trust me – the sun will rise again. You will feel the warm breeze of Spring. We will all lift lamps of courage that lead us to the morning light.

Hope your out of commission-ness is pleasant.

35 kat November 9, 2008 at 3:24 pm

is everything ok? i hope you’ll be out of commission due to being ever so busy with too many fabulous things.

36 Spot the Wonder Dog November 10, 2008 at 8:16 am

I know why you’re out of commission. It’s because when you say “WOW” you’re really referring to World of Warcraft. Everyone just assumes you’re talking about the election.

Resist the temptation Jenn…. RESIST!!!!

Maybe check in once in a while and let us know how you’re doing, okay? Just a brief “still here” will suffice.

(((hugs))))
