It seems unreliable, and the older I get, the less I trust it even. But I don't want to be a cynical old person, although I can see where it would be easy just to let that happen. Still, it's a struggle for many, even some who may not appear to struggle with it, when things appear simple to others. Maybe you were posting about how pretty blue and green were and I stumbled in to say that mayonnaise tastes good on french fries. Total non-sequitur. Who knows.
