Those of us who are upright often got there through hell, and always feel the hot breath of that depression demon on our necks. And know that “upright” is pretty damn temporary, for anybody.

And, we feel enormous compassion and love for those of you still in it. Praying for light to your days and to your burden soon.

it is the speaking my heart that gets me. I want to send these posts to everyone I know and say THIS is what I have been trying to tell you.
I have the same voice saying WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME??? I used to be FINE. Now I am on so many meds it boggles the mind. I think the exact same things;….LOOK at them all, how do they do it?? Why me, I used to be like them…..
I also remember being so sad once that instead of a day at a time, it became a minute at a time, a second, a breath at a time. And I made it thru, but never mistake it was a close one. If I can do it, you can do it. We all are doing it.
Thank you for your sharing soul and beautiful achingly familiar inner voices.

I have to laugh at my former post about the green tea. It reminds me of that scene in Moonstruck when Loretta is talking to Johnny while he’s in Sicily. It’s awkward, she doesn’t know what to say so she says, “Don’t stand directly under the sun. You got a hat. Wear your hat!’. Ha! I am the queen of giving unsolicited advice that doesn’t have to do with the current situation — I want to hand out band-aids… be well.
