i did that, too. except my purchase was the 1977 world book and almanac. my mother was SPITTING mad.
When I was just a little older, my best friend and I stole a box of mail-order makeup out of someone’s mailbox while walking home from school. Color us guilty…I hope the victim didn’t have to pay for it.
