I very much enjoy your blog and admire and envy your relationship with your girls, I hope that when I have children, we can enjoy the same camaraderie. I most admire your ability to be fun and laid-back and yet also set appropriate limits with your girls..not being the “cool” mom, but the good mom. = )

Oh man, the “hug you so hard you die”, how great is that?
This made me laugh so hard because my mom still tells everyone how dorky little me instisted on wearing her frogneck shirt on T day to kindergarten. You know, my FROG neck shirt, on T day. With my tennis shoes, okay?

I love stories like this – it gave me a much needed laugh. My 7 yo daughter had me in stitches this afternoon when she said her millkshake tasted like a latte. When I told her there was no way she knew what a latte tasted like she said “Oh, you’re right, it’s a Tappuccino”.

Oh my….we have these crazy letter discussions CONSTANTLY with my 3 year old. He is determined to have “T” week every week so he can take a ninja turtle. He sighs dejectedly each time we tell him “no, it’s still E week, buddy!” (btw, he chose an Angel for A week!)
