You were wonderful to me. When I was crawling out of the sludge. I wish I could thank you all again. Some of you, I’ve lost your emails, your addresses. There is so much I wanted to say that I just couldn’t then. I had hit the wall. I couldn’t move. Sometimes, for days. Your words and tokens of hope kept me going, more than I can ever express.
I am going through the basement this week. I have boxes of darling little girl clothes—infant and toddler, especially. If any of you know anyone going through a particularly difficult time, with a wee lassie needing clothes, let me know. I would love to give back this way. Pass it forward, yes. Let’s pass it around the world, loveys. It’s not much, but it would be good for me to move on, and to know that the clothes will be going to someone who truly needs them.
I am deeply grateful to all of you. Wish I could have you all over for tea and fake flames and mojitos and homemade chili (this, I can make).
I send love.

What a great idea! I don’t know anyone, but I can’t wait to hear about where the stuff gets sent!
I don’t know anyone who needs the clothing but I want to thank you back. Your writing moves me on a regular basis. It moves me to tears, makes me laugh and warms my heart – often all in one post. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Oh lovely – I’ll bet they are the sweetest little collection of girly fashions. Someone will be overjoyed to open the boxes and discover the treasures inside…..

I’m glad you’re at a point where you can get some warm fuzzies from giving.
I love chili, and I would love to eat some with you.
Do you know of a shelter for battered women in your area? If not, check the yellow pages. These women frequently have to flee their homes with nothing but their children and the clothes on their back. They need literally everything to start a new life. Shelters are always looking for children’s clothing.
Mmmm, it all sounds delicious. Enjoy paying it forward. You will make someone very happy with your tiny clothes.
BadKitty has the right idea – we have two women’s shelters nearby and I bet that Sophie and Hannah’s baby clothes will provide some comfort to families in transition.
Unless, of course, one of Jenn’s readers is also in need and contacts her.
Good karma either way.
XO and much love to you! XOFifi
How about Redfield House in Pittsfield? They are often in need of clothes for the babes and little ones.
This is a kind gesture- but you should know that with your honest words you are always paying it forward.

oh, and i think the louisen(?) house accepts donations. Also, the Northern Berkshire Family Net has a clothing exchange in the basement. they offer free clothes for families in need!
Much love always coming your way from So Cal. Your blog is a big reason to log on to the Internet each day. Sometimes, the only reason. Always the best reason.
xoxoxoxo and virtual mac n cheese.

I second Erin’s sentiment… your writing is a huge gift to us.
And maybe it doesn’t sink in when you hear that — lord knows many of us are more comfortable with criticism than praise — but we will keep saying it because it is true.
You are too gorgeous. It’s blinding.
Been reading you for about two years now. You amaze me–You don’t wallow despite having reason to. Instead, you dig for the positive in every situation.
I’m sure you will make someone very happy with those baby clothes. Maybe that knowledge will bring you some happiness.
I don’t need any clothes (thankfully) but I would take the chili
You are so lovely. I give all the clothes that are too small for the baby to something called “The house for the poor”, if you’ve got something similar were you live I highly recommend it.
It is a gift to participate in giving and receiving. We receive so much here.
